“Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2022/2023” (MoI Ukraine)

Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav got the opportunity to join the project “Management of Internationalization and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2022/2023” (MoI Ukraine), developed by the International Office of the Leibniz University in Hanover with the support of the DAAD within the framework of the program “Supporting the Internationalization of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions – advanced training programs for administrators of Ukrainian higher education institutions in the field of education and academic management (2022-2023)” to meet the need for German-Ukrainian academic cooperation. The goal of the “MoI Ukraine” project is to provide participants from Ukrainian higher education institutions with knowledge about various aspects of internationalization and to teach them internationalization management, as well as to develop German-Ukrainian cooperation.

The training will consist of 5 modules:

1. Background knowledge of internationalization
2. Competencies on the design and management of internationalization
3. Soft skills
4. Management skills
5. Practical part

Listeners of the program:

• learn about the concepts and strategies of internationalization of higher education in different countries;
• will be able to compare the German and Ukrainian systems, as well as the structure of universities;
• learn how to deal with all aspects of academic mobility and scientific cooperation;
• learn how to develop and implement an appropriate internationalization strategy or any other individual project in the field of internationalization that is relevant for their own university;
• learn about available financing tools for international cooperation.

The project is designed to meet the needs of Ukrainian institutions of higher education with different levels of experience in the field of internationalization and to provide them with assistance in creating or joining relevant national and international networks.
