Ukrainian-Moldovan cooperation

Since 2016 Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav has been working closely with the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical Universityin the direction of submitting joint project applications and developing materials for further fruitful work. The Faculty of Pedagogical Education, Management and Art of our university is a direct active participant in this cooperation, which is working to strengthen Ukrainian-Moldovan ties and constantly expand possible areas of joint activities.

Chisinau State Pedagogical University named after Ion Creanga consists of five faculties:

• Faculty of Philology and History;
• Faculty of Psychology and Special Psychopedagogy;
• Faculty of Pedagogy and Informatics;
• Faculty of Arts and Design;
• Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature.

These faculties train teachers for more than 60 specialties.

12 university professors, 9 habilitated doctors, 124 doctors of sciences, 104 associate professors work at 16 departments of the university. More than 4000 students study at the faculties of the university, of which 2207 study at the bachelor’s degree, 902 – at the master’s degree and more than 300 – in graduate school. To this day, the Pedagogical University has trained more than 40000 people of the teaching staff, more than a hundred of whom have been awarded the title of “Honorary Teacher of the Republic”.
