As a result of an open competition for cooperation with the “Learning Together” Project, selected pilot institutions of higher and professional pre-higher education that train pedagogical staff. One of the institutions participating in the Project is Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav. Representatives of the Department of Pedagogy, Theory and Methods of Primary Education headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education, Management and Art Ignatenko N.V. participate from our institution.
The project “Learning Together” will provide assistance to the teaching staff in the development of new educational programs in the specialty 013 Primary Education for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accordance with the pedagogical concept of NUS. The development teams will be supported through a modular program of preparation for trainers, aimed at developing the skills of the teams in the field of educational programs for teacher training.
The program consists of modular online trainings (webinars), which held in autumn 2021, and the work of trainers and the development team locally during autumn 2021 – spring 2022 to complete the tasks. Modular training webinars are designed to enrich the Ukrainian practice of program development with relevant Finnish approaches and best practices in teacher training.

- professor, doctor of Physical and Chemical Sciences Jari Lavonen, director of the National Forum for Teacher Education, ex-director of the Department of Teacher Education with many years of experience;
- Kaisa Hal, head of the Department of Subject Teacher Training, foreign language teacher at the university;
- Heidi Krzywicki, lecturer of mathematics at the university.
The goal: to deepen the understanding of the cycle, approach and best practices related to the planning, implementation and evaluation of teacher education programmes in higher education institutions/vocational schools through the Finnish experience.
